The VitaNet StealthTag makes the Texas Instruments Simplelink SensorTag 10-sensor capabilities to work in Stealth Mode. StealthMode is achieved once StealthTag firmware is flashed into SensorTag and StealthTag App work together to stop broadcasting advertising packets. StealthMode is maintained until a signal — a digital key in advertising packet from the StealthTag app — is received. From here, all SensorTag sensor functions and features remain the same. Stealth Mode is a key privacy protection feature of VitaNet Secure technology without interfering with any other Bluetooth Low Energy functions. No one can detect devices you may have on you!
Plus, it’s easy to switch from Stealth Mode back to the standard SensorTag.
After launching StealthTag, your scan for your SensorTag and connect. Once connected, you can OAD StealthTag firmware and your SensorTag becomes StealthTag! You can also OAD standard SensorTag firmware back to StealthTag.
StealthTag app works only with phones which are BLE4.1 capable, BLE peripheral mode enabled, and running Android 5.0 or newer: Some Nexus models, including Nexus6, select Sony Xperia models and select Samsung models are confirmed to be capable.
